Puppy Application
While our waiting list is open, please keep in mind that the current wait time is about 6 - 9 months as we only breed a few times per year. While we generally follow our waiting list in the order in which people have applied, we do give preference to sport / performance homes, established and ethical breeders, past puppy owners or friends / family of past puppy owners, those who live in Nanaimo, and those willing to become a guardian home for one of our breeding dogs. While this won't mean you will get moved up to the top of the list, it will help your application get to the top faster.
If you are interested in a miniature poodle from us, please read the Poodle FAQ document first to answer any questions you might have and to read all about our breeding program and how we raise our puppies to make sure we are a good fit for you. If you have a question that is not answered in the FAQ there is a place to ask at the bottom of the application form.
There is a non-refundable administration fee of $25 to cover the large amount of time that we spend answering questions, responding to emails, talking to people on the phone, and attempting to contact people on our waiting list with no response. This fee is non-refundable, but if you do end up buying a puppy from us, it will be attributed towards the final cost of the puppy ($2500).
Once you have filled out the form you will be contacted within 48 hours to let you know we have received your application and it has been approved. If you do not receive a response, we did not get your application. Once approved, you will be asked to send your administration fee (e-transfer to robin@mostlymischief.com only, unless you are local). If you do not send the fee, your application will not be considered. Please do not send money until you have received confirmation that your application was received and approved.
If you have trouble with the form, you can send us an email and manually type in the questions and answers.
Please note: we will ONLY communicate with you by email when offering you a spot on the waiting list. Please check your spam / junk folder. If we offer you a spot on the waiting list for a litter and do not hear back within 24 hours we will move on down the list, however you will keep your spot for the next litter if you are still interested.
