
Title Abbreviations
​
You might notice our poodles have a lot of letters before or after their names but what do they ll mean? Here is a cheat sheet for all of the titles we have earned. While there are many more titles in each of these organizations, we are only including titles which our dogs have earned.
Agility
​​
CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
AGN - Agility Novice. The dog has received three passing scores in the standard agility runs.

AKC (American Kennel Club)
ACT2J - Agility Course Test Level 2 Jumpers: a virtual agility test where you set up the course in a ring and video the dog completing it and send it to the AKC for judging.
​

AAC (Agility Association of Canada)
ADC - Agility Dog of Canada: the dog has achieved 3 qualifying standard run scores under two different judges in the Starters level.
​
SGDC - Starter Games Dog of Canada: the dog has achieved 2 qualifying scores under two different judges in jumpers, snooker, and gamble at the Starters level.
​
AADC - Advanced Agility Dog of Canada: the dog has achieved 3 qualifying standard run scores under two different judges in the Advanced level.
​
AGDC - Advanced Games Dog of Canada: the dog has achieved 3 qualifying scores under two different judges in jumpers, snooker, and gamble at the Advanced level.
​
MADC - Masters Agility Dog of Canada: the dog has achieved 3 qualifying standard run scores under two different judges in the Masters level.
​
MJDC - Masters Jumpers Dog of Canada: the dog had earned 4 qualifying Masters Jumpers scores under two different judges.
​
MGDC - Masters Gamble Dog of Canada: the dog had earned 4 qualifying Masters Gamble scores under two different judges.
​
MSDC - Masters Snooker Dog of Canada: the dog had earned 4 qualifying Masters Snooker scores under two different judges.
​
ATChC - Agility Trial Champion of Canada: this is achieved when the dog earns their MADC, MJDC, MGDC, and MSDC.

Canine Conditioning & Fitness
​​
DMWYD (Do More With Your Dog)
CCF1 - Canine Conditioning & Fitness Level 1: the dog must perform a series of exercises to demonstrate fitness, balance, and coordination.
​
CCF2 - Canine Conditioning & Fitness Level 2: the dog must perform a series of exercises to demonstrate fitness, balance, and coordination.
​
CCF3 - Canine Conditioning & Fitness Level 3: the dog must perform a series of exercises to demonstrate fitness, balance, and coordination.
​
CCF4 - Canine Conditioning & Fitness Level 4: the dog must perform a series of exercises to demonstrate fitness, balance, and coordination.
​
CCF-CH - Canine Conditioning & Fitness Champion: the dog must perform a series of exercises to demonstrate fitness, balance, and coordination.
Cooperative Care

Fenzi TEAM
CCC1 - Cooperative Care Certificate Level 1: the dog must perform a series of handling behaviours to prove they can accept handling, grooming, and veterinary care. The behviours are videoed and sent in to Fenzi TEAM to be graded.
Disc Dog

Toss & Fetch
CFD - Certified Frisbee Dog: the dog catches discs to achieve 10 or more points 3 or more times in a 5 week set.

AFD - Advanced Frisbee Dog: the dog catches discs to achieve 20 or more points 3 or more times in a 5 week set.
Barn Hunt

BHA (Barn Hunt Association)
RATI - Barn Hunt Instinct: a instinct test where the dog must correctly indicate on a rat out of three tubes that are not hidden. Only one qualifying score is necessary for a title.
​
RATN - Barn Hunt Novice: the dog must climb, tunnel, and find one rat in a hay bale course. The dog must achieve 3 qualifying scores to earn their Novice title.
​
RATO - Barn Hunt Open: the dog must climb, tunnel, and find two rats in a hay bale course. The dog must achieve 3 qualifying scores to earn their Open title.
​
RATS - Barn Hunt Senior: the dog must climb, tunnel, and find four rats in a hay bale course. The dog must achieve 3 qualifying scores to earn their Senior title.
​
RATM - Barn Hunt Masters: the dog must climb, tunnel, and find 1-5 rats (number unknown to handler) in a hay bale course. The dog must achieve 5 qualifying scores under two different judges to earn their Masters title.
Parkour

ADP (All Dogs Parkour)
ADP-L1 - All Dogs Parkour Level 1: the dog must complete 12 parkour exercises at a single location. 6 of the exercises must be unique.
​
ADP-L2 - All Dogs Parkour Level 2: the dog must complete 12 parkour exercises at a single location. 7 of the exercises must be unique.
​
ADP-L3 - All Dogs Parkour Level 3: the dog must complete 12 parkour exercises at a single location. 8 of the exercises must be unique. Three runs must be included, each at a different location.
Rally Obedience

CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
RN - Rally Novice: the dog has achieved 3 qualifying scores under two different judges at the Novice level.
Scent Detection
​​
CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
SDI - Scent Detection Instinct: the optional instinct test where the dog must indicate on a single odour in a set of containers.
​
SDN - Scent Detection Novice: the first full level in CKC nosework where the dog must find one odour in three different components (Containers, Interior, Exterior). All three must be passed (but not at the same trial) to achieve the Novice title.
​
SDO - Scent Detection Open: the second level in CKC nosework where the dog must find two odours in three different components (Containers, Interior, Exterior). All three must be passed (but not at the same trial) to achieve the Open title.
​
SDDA (Sporting Detection Dogs Association)
SDS - Scent Detection Started: the first level in SDDA. The dogs must find one odour in Containers, Interior, and Exterior.
​
SDA - Scent Detection Advanced: the second level of SDDA. The dogs must now find two odours in each component and they increase in complexity.
​
SDE - Scent Detection Excellent: the third level of SDDA. The dogs must now find three odours per component and tackle a room search in which there is an unknown number of hides (either 0, 1, or 2).
​
SD-CH - Scent Detection Champion. The dog must earn 5 titles between Excellent and Advanced, two of which must be from the Excellent level.

CDSA (Canadian Detection Sports Association)
DS1 (Jr, Sr, Ex) - Detection Sport Level 1 is the first level of CDSA where the dogs must find one odour in Containers, Interior, and Exterior and each component must be passed at the same trial to earn a title. The first time passing earns DS1-Junior, the second time passing earns DS1-Senior, and the third time passing earns DS1-Expert.

DS2 (Jr, Sr, Ex) - Detection Sport Level 2 is the second level of CDSA where the dogs must now find two odours in each component and each component must be passed at the same trial to earn a title. The first time passing earns DS2-Junior, the second time passing earns DS2-Senior, and the third time passing earns DS2-Expert.
​
DS3 (Jr, Sr, Ex) - Detection Sport Level 3 is the third level of CDSA where the dogs must find up to three odours in four components, two of which have an unknown number of hides and could be zero. Each component must be passed at the same trial to earn a title. The first time passing earns DS3-Junior, the second time passing earns DS3-Senior, and the third time passing earns DS3-Expert.

DSV1 - Detection Sports Versatility Level 1 is a special scent detection versatility title which is awarded to dog who has titles in three different scent detection organizations.
​
CWAGS (Canine Work and Games)
CW-SP - Scent Patrol is the first level of CWAGS nosework in which the dog must find a single odour in a container search. This search must be done four times successfully under two different judges to earn this title.
​
CW-SD - Scent Detective is the second level of CWAGS nosework in which the dog must find two odours in a room which has some containers and a table and chairs. This search must be done four times successfully under two different judges to earn this title.
​
CW-ScR1 - Scent Ranger level 1 is the first level of the Scent Ranger track in which the dog must complete a container search at a distance from the handler. This search must be done four times successfully under two different judges to earn this title.
Sprinter

CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
NS - Novice Sprinter: the dog must earn points based on their speed chasing a lure 100m. Each run earns points and the dog accumulates points until they have reached 150 points.
​
S - Sprinter: the dog must earn points based on their speed chasing a lure 100m. Each run earns points and the dog accumulates points until they have reached 500 points.
​
Trick Dog

DMWYD (Do More With Your Dog)
NTD - Novice Trick Dog: the dog must perform tricks from the Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert trick list until they have earned 15 points.
​
NTD-M - Novice Trick Dog Masters: the dog must perform 30 tricks from the Novice trick list.
​
ITD - Intermediate Trick Dog: the dog must perform tricks from the Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert trick list until they have achieved 12 points.
​
ITD-M - Intermediate Trick Dog Masters: the dog must perform 20 tricks from the Intermediate trick list.
​​
ATD - Advanced Trick Dog: the dog must perform tricks from the Advanced or Expert trick list until they have achieved 5 points.
​
ATD-M - Advanced Trick Dog Masters: the dog must perform 10 tricks from the Advanced trick list.
​
ETD - Expert Trick Dog: the dog must perform tricks from the Expert trick list until they have achieved 5 points.
​
ETD-M - Expert Trick Dog Masters: the dog must perform 10 tricks from the Expert trick list.
​
TPCH - Trick Puppy Champion: the dog must earn their Intermediate Masters title and submit tricks from other various categories before the dog turns 2 years old to receive their Trick Puppy Champion title.
​
TDCH - Trick Dog Champion: the dog must earn their Expert Trick Dog title and then complete a set of other special requirements to be sent via video directly to DMWYD to be graded.
​
TDGCH - Trick Dog Grand Champion: the dog must earn their Trick Dog Champion and then complete a different set of special requirements to be sent via video directly to DMWYD to be graded.
​
TDROM - Trick Dog Register of Merit: the dog earns this title by earning 10 trick dog titles between them, their siblings, and their offspring.
​

TKN - Trick Dog Novice: the dog must perform a certain amount of tricks from a list.
​
TKI - Trick Dog Intermediate: the dog must perform a certain amount of tricks from a list.
​
TKA - Trick Dog Advanced: the dog must perform a certain amount of tricks from a list.

Versatility

CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
VN - Versatility Novice: the dog must achieve titles from three different CKC recognized sports.
​
VIP (Versatility In Poodles)
VC - Versatility Certificate: the dog must earn 10 points by achieving titles in various organizations. Points can also be earned for health testing results.
​
VCX - Versatility Certificate Excellent: the dog must earn 15 points by achieving titles in various organizations in at least four categories. Points can also be earned for health testing results.

Virtual Home Manners

VHMP - Virtual Home Manners Puppy: the dog must perform a series of behaviours to prove they are a calm and stable puppy. The exercises are videoed and sent in to the AKC for grading.
